Emu point motel & Apartments
Free off road parking, courtyard style is available outside your Motel Studio with plenty of space for buses, trailers, jet skis and boats on the property.
There is a fee if you are bringing an electric vehicle.
Pets are not permitted at the Emu Point Motel. However we do have a sister property nearby (Emu Beach Chalets) that is Pet Friendly.
Check in time is any time after 2pm to allow time for our cleaning staff to do a thorough preparation of your spacious Motel Studio.
Early check in is by arrangement subject to availability – if the room is cleaned and ready for you. If you need an early check in by all means let us know and we will do our best to have the Motel Studio cleaned as soon as its previous guests have vacated. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to meet the requested timeline. Checkout time is 10am and check In time is 2 pm.
Check out time is 10am to allow time for our cleaning staff to do a thorough preparation of the spacious Motel Studio for our next guest.
A later check out time is only available by arrangement, subject to availability, if the Motel Studio is not booked for that night. There is a charge for each hour past 11am. Please ask our reception staff if you do need a late check out and we will assist you if at all possible. A holding fee may apply.
Yes we do have a hassle-free process for guests arriving late at night. Please ensure that your accommodation is paid for before 5.00pm and that a valid credit card has been provided for security and we will provide you with very simple instructions on what to do.
A fee of $25 per person, per night for each Extra person utilising existing beds in your Motel Studio will apply or a folder bed may be added for the same fee.
Cots and high chairs are available free of charge for our guests. Please book in advance and we will have it ready for you in your Motel Studio.
The fee for infants and children is $25 per child per night. As above, you can request a cot and high chair free of charge.
Please ensure your account is fully paid the day before your departure. Leave the key to your Motel Studio on the table inside your room and lock the door as you leave. Travel safely to your next destination.
All our spacious Motel studios have reverse cycle air-conditioning so our guests are comfortable all year round.
Services are arranged by reception staff on a weekly basis. If you wish to change any linen over, please leave them on the chair outside your room and our friendly staff will swap them out.
Two styles of our Motel Studios have a sofa for seating as well as the dining table and chairs. Our very affordable Classic King Motel Studios have a sofa and the more spacious Executive Studios at the rear have comfortable leather lounges
Our Motel is in a tranquil parkland setting with bush surrounds. We are 200m from the beautiful Emu Beach. More privacy is provided at the rear of the property.
We are 200 m from Emu Beach at the end of our road (part of the world class Middleton Bay), a 5 minute stroll will take you to a lovely sheltered section of Emu Beach and a little further along takes you to Emu Point where there is a very sheltered swimming area, jetty, playgrounds and safe shallow water suitable for small children. You are also able to walk from Emu Beach the full length along the sand to Middleton Beach. A 4km drive by car.
We are 7km or 10 minutes from the CBD area and have an option of taking the scenic route around Marine Drive and past the harbor for those with the time to do so.
No, we have no restaurants or bars onsite, however we do have do have ‘home style favourite meals’ available through the office during office hours. All Motel Studios have fully equipped mini kitchens and a few food businesses will deliver to Emu Point.
Squid Shack is situated on the Marina, and Emu Point Café on Emu Point is open through the day. More restaurants and cafes are at Middleton Beach and the CBD.
We welcome those who enjoy bird watching and photography to explore our property. Many bird species can be seen while enjoying the fresh air and tranquillity of our outdoor settings. The nearby bird walks at Lake Seppings and further away at the Kalgan and King rivers are very popular as are the antics of the Pelicans at Emu Point.
